Dear Wale,

I mean I aint a stan or nothing, but i like you, like a little bit, just a little tiny bit like a little tiny bit

i mean i'm

nodding to Ice cream girl..
I'm feeling you
praising your lyrical finesse and flow but i wonder if formal schooling/common sense is lacking...I'm questioning this based on your recent statements regarding Solange Knowles.

“She’s amazing. She’s a good person,” he said at his album release party at Marquee in Manhattan Monday night. “Any single mother contributing to society the way she does, I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly.”

I'm sure she's a great person (probably not) and she's a great mom but for you to say "She’s definitely an anomaly” calls in to question a few things, first whether or not you know the definition of anomaly..or you are clearly referencing a very small pool of women.
I know many rappers and such like to use such big words in interviews but lets..for shits and giggles or rather accuracy's sake define the word anomaly: An anomaly is any occurrence or object that is strange, unusual, or unique. It can also mean a discrepancy or deviation from an established rule or trend. Well in her book, Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America, Ann Coulter sites several widely accepted statistics regarding Single motherhood in a chapter entitled "Victim of a crime? Thank a Single Mother." While I think Ann Coulter is an ahole, her statistics are credible and they state of all single mothers 41.3% bore thier children out of wedlock which for me contradicts Wale's statement of Solange being an anomaly.
Perhaps he was referring to her divorcee status, however she is still part of 37.8 percent of single mothers which clearly does not make her something unique or unusal.
Maybe he was only referring to women who gave birth to sons or just single black mothers... while i am not sure about the former, I do know the "illegitmacy" rates or rather children born out of wedlock to black mothers in increasing at an alarming rate. Surely Wale was not referring to this pool to which Solange is a card carrying member.

Perhaps I am too deeply entrenced in studying for the LSAT that i see how invalid your conclusion is.

Now I know you're smitten, perhaps you two are enjoying some champagne chronic night caps and I'm sure you wanted her to read your words and say Awww baby... and while your intentions may have been noble they fall short. You have angered or should have angered an entire population of women who are contributing to society in great ways and are in my opinion facing obstacles far greater than that of the lesser known Knowles.

My advice to you...leave the pillow talk for the bedroom

Yours truly
Kingsmomma

i'm hoping that your words were a result of you two playing media footsies, i'm just le

girl, my thing on this was the fact that he acts like she's working so hard at being the only source of financial support for her son. that heffa can afford all of the nannies, chefs, and butlers that she wants. i want him to give props to women like yourself that are working hard and doing it all alone.
